Specifically designed for hard flooring surfaces is the Bissell PowerEdge Pet Hard Floor Corded Vacuum. This hard floor vacuum is the perfect complement to your hardwood floors.
It offers you the ability to clean them without worry, as it is completely safe in its design for delicate floor surfaces. The Bissell pet vacuum reviews may be plentiful, but we have the inside scoop on this vacuum, and invite you to take a look at what might make the Bissell PowerEdge Pet Hard Floor Corded Vacuum perfect for you.
Corded Pet Hard Floor Vacuum
The BISSELL PowerEdge Pet Hard Floor Corded Vacuum's unusual front V-shape design is at the heart of its cleaning abilities.
This V-shape is specifically designed to attract dirt and suck it right into the vacuum as you clean. It also allows you to effectively get around furniture legs and into corners where dirt and pet hair can really stack up on a hardwood floor.
At 7.5 lbs., this vacuum is relatively light and compact, allowing you to pull it out at a moment’s notice without being inconvenienced by its bulk. You’ll find this compact vacuum is an effective cleaner on pet hair. It includes suction paths on the edges of the head to pull pet hair up with ease.
The Bissell PowerEdge Pet Hard Floor Corded Vacuum is a corded vacuum with a 20 foot long cord and swivel head. This offers you plenty of mobility as you clean.
You’ll be able to push and pull this vacuum on your hardwoods without too much effort and even be able to use it on light-pile carpet if needed.
Driving the BISSELL PowerEdge Pet Hard Floor Corded Vacuum is a 6-amp motor. This means it offers good suction to get dirt, dust, food, pet hair, and spills up off your floors for a clean look to your home.
The suction of the vacuum really relies on the V-shape design of the head as there is no roller brush to contend with or to guide dirt into the vacuum.
By using V-shaped wipers, the Bissell PowerEdge Pet Hard Floor Corded Vacuum is able to guide debris right into the vacuum. The wipers are constructed of a hair attracting rubber that literally forces hair inside the vacuum’s dirt canister. Pet hair that is covering your hardwood floors is no match for this suction.
A transparent dirt cup collects debris and can be emptied with ease, and a filtration system can be removed and cleaned.
Like other Bissell pet vacuum reviews mention, the Bissell PowerEdge Pet Hard Floor Corded Vacuum is a versatile vacuum that is perfect for hardwoods. It never scratches as it cleans and is also effective on tile flooring too!
Everything you need for the BISSELL PowerEdge Pet Hard Floor Corded Vacuum comes in one easy-to-assemble package.
There are no additional accessories to contend with as this bagless vacuum offers strong cyclonic technology to pull in dirt and pet hair easily.
You don’t need a wand for larger messes like cat litter or dog food as this vacuum is able to suck these larger pieces right up without the need for an attachment piece.
The price of the Bissell PowerEdge Pet Hard Floor Corded Vacuum is extremely affordable. It offers a good value for the strength and flexibility it has.
You’ll find investing in this marvel of a vacuum makes sense for your hardwood floors as you’ll be able to keep up with the dust and dirt that collect so easily without warning. It also comes with a one-year warranty.
Like many of the Bissell pet vacuum reviews you may have seen, there is much to love about the Bissell PowerEdge Pet Hard Floor Corded Vacuum.
Even as perfect a vacuum the Bissell PowerEdge Pet Hard Floor Corded Vacuum seems to be, we found a few drawbacks you might want to consider before buying. This vacuum is best used on hardwood floors. In our tests on low pile carpet, it did an above average job. We wouldn't use it for a deep clean on low pile carpets, but it will pick up the majority of debris off of your low pile carpet and area rugs.
However, take this Bissell onto thicker carpet and it really falls apart. it doesn't have a brush roller, and isn't designed for thicker carpet. So, if you're looking to pick up a vacuum for this scenario, this isn't the vacuum for you.
When cleaning with the Bissell PowerEdge Pet Hard Floor Corded Vacuum, you may find the filter clogs easier than others. While this could be an issue, the filter is so easy to clean it is a small inconvenience to deal with.
If you need a deep clean of your flooring, you might want to opt for one of the Bissell steam mops for tile and grout that we recommend.
We also would have liked to see the Bissell PowerEdge Pet Hard Floor Corded Vacuum come with a few accessories to help clean those busy living areas. But, its V-shaped head does such a good job cleaning that you will not miss having those extra attachments.
Overall, we recommend the Bissell PowerEdge Pet Hard Floor Corded Vacuum to any homeowner that has pets and/or a hardwood flooring surface that needs regular cleaning.
You’ll find the value this vacuum offers combined with its compact size, easy-to-use functions, and strong suction power beneficial when you are looking to invest in a vacuum that will provide plenty of power when you need it without being a hassle to drag out.
Powerful suction for hardwood floors, easy to use, and inexpensive.
