Our Disclaimer.
Transparency about our content, partnerships, and editorial standards.

This page explains how HomeViable makes money and what that does and does not mean for the content you read here.
HomeViable is owned and published by 201 Creative, LLC.
How This Site Is Funded
HomeViable earns revenue three ways: display advertising managed by Mediavine, affiliate commissions when readers buy products through links in our articles, and sales of our own products, beginning with our Techniques course and expanding into kitchen goods and cookware.
That is the complete list. We do not sell sponsored posts disguised as editorial content, we do not accept payment for product placements within recipes, and no brand reviews or approves our articles before publication. If that ever changes, the affected content will say so plainly at the top of the page.
When an article mentions our own course or products, we identify them as ours. You will never find us reviewing our own cookware as if we were a neutral party.
Affiliate Links
HomeViable is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases.
When an article links to a product, here is what that means in practice: if you click the link and buy something, Amazon pays us a small commission. The commission comes out of Amazon’s pocket, not yours.
Products are chosen because they fit the recipe or technique being discussed. A commission has never made a bad pan worth recommending, and skipping every affiliate link will not change a word of our cooking advice.
Editorial Standards
Recipes published on HomeViable are developed and tested by our contributors in home kitchens, with the goal that they work the first time for a reader following along. When we describe how a dish behaves, that description comes from making it.
We update older posts when we find errors, when techniques improve, or when products we mentioned are discontinued. Each page shows its most recent update date.
Accuracy and Your Own Judgment
We work hard to get things right, but we make no warranty that every measurement, temperature, cook time, or nutritional estimate on this site is complete, current, or correct for your situation. Ovens run hot and cold, altitude changes baking, and ingredient brands vary. Treat our instructions as a tested starting point and use your own senses and judgment in the kitchen.
Nothing on HomeViable is medical, nutritional, or professional advice. If you have allergies, dietary restrictions, or health conditions affected by what you eat, check ingredients yourself and consult a qualified professional.
Outside Links
We link to other websites when they are genuinely useful. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, or practices.
Questions
If anything about our funding or editorial practices is unclear, ask us through the contact page or by email to [email protected]. We would rather answer the question than leave a reader wondering.
